WHO IS TERRENCE
Former NFL player turned real-estate entrepreneur.
Terrence C. Murphy Sr. is the CEO and Founder of Terrence Murphy Companies located in Bryan-College Station, Texas. After graduating from Texas A&M University as a 3X Academic All-Big 12 Student-Athlete, 2X Team Captain, 2X 1st Team All-Big 12 Athlete, and one of the most decorated wide receivers in school history, he graduated Class of 2005 and was drafted in the 2nd round (58th overall pick) by the Green Bay Packers in the 2005 NFL Draft.
After retiring from the NFL, real estate became his main focus and passion. He became a real estate investor in the Texas real estate market in 2006 and a limited partner with Stillwater Capital, primarily investing in class A multi-family and high density residential developments.

In 2008, he and his wife Erica Murphy moved back to Bryan-College Station, TX to start developing student housing, multi-family, and high end residential developments in communities like The Traditions, Greens Prairie Reserve and more. He is one of the only builders/developers in Brazos Valley to be awarded an entire neighborhood to build his projects under his luxury residential construction company Murphy Signature Homes. He has led multiple development and acquisition companies to multi-million dollar revenues and has completed over $4B+ in sales and acquisitions in his career.

Terrence personally sold 70+ properties that were $1M+ transactions. He has consistently ranked in the top 1% of agents in the United States since 2011. TM5 received the prestigious Aggie 100 award from Texas A&M University Mays Business School for being one of the fastest-growing Aggie-owned and Aggie-operated companies in the world 3X and the INC. 5000 award 2X for the privately held fastest-growing companies in the US.

Terrence owns right under 1,000 units in his rental portfolio, between his personal portfolio and four other multifamily assets where he was the GP of the acquisitions under TM5 Equity Partners. Terrence is a founder or investor in over 80+ companies under Terrence Murphy Companies across many industries and has now moved into professional sports ownership and has joined the ownership group of the Texas Ranchers. He is a founding member and on the board of Alumni Ventures, specifically, Texas A&M’s VC fund Ring Ventures.
